After your mountain adventure through the trails of the Blue Mountain Peak, relax, rejuvenate and recharge your tired aching body on your return to Forres Park. Balance the mind, body and spirit with customized and unique treatments designed especially for you. We offer therapeutic massages, Signature mud mask, exfoliation and hot stone treatments. Manicure and Pedicure is also available.

Bird Watching - Forres Park & Abbey Green

bird At Forres Park the upper verandah offers such an array of birds at daybreak that it is sometimes difficult to depart for the nearby trails - all three Hummingbird species can be seen - Vervain, Jamaica Mango and Streamertail - along with Orangequits, White-chinned Thrushes, Kingbirds, Flycatchers and numerous North American Warblers in their winter quarters.

Our mountain paths are ideal for serious mountain bikers and birdwatchers and we can plan tours for both groups. Arrangements are made with experienced guides from Birdlife Jamaica and other professional Birdwatchers to locate the 28 endemic and many of the 200 other Caribbean residents and migrant species.

Experienced birdwatchers may see some familiar species, endemic and otherwise, nest at Forres Park. Tours are priced with your personalized interest and prices vary according to your particular requests.

Hiking & Nature Walks

Forres Park — a rich birding paradise. Climb the trails around the house where quite a number of the 28 endemic species of birds can be seen.

Our on-site hiking trail up the steep hillside behind the main house and cabins is a site to behold. Climb through the coffee groves and fruit trees into nature’s natural forest.

Mountain Sunrise

We can arrange your adventure to the Blue Mountain Peak. Climb to the peak, and at 5 a.m. experience a once-in-a-lifetime Jamaican sunrise.

Annual Ocho Rios International Jazz Festival
Forres Park has been apart of the Annual Ocho Rios International Jazz Festival since June 2006. Each year between June 1st and 13th Jazz & Coffee in the Mountains is hosted at Forres Park.
We have had performers such as – Harold Butler, Maurice Gordon, Seretse Small, Jessica Yapp, Oudia Lewis and Marie Claire form Dominica.
So the next time Jazz is on, make sure that you are there. Come soak up the mountain air, sip the world’s best Blue Mountain Coffee (Amber of course) and let the music conquer your soul.
